Rejected shots and filming

I filmed several shots of me miming in my bedroom, as i wanted the singer to seem like a normal teenage girl, so that my target audience could relate to the song and the singer. However, when editing the shots together with the rest of my filmed footage, I found that it didn't quite fit in with the music video and therefore, removed these shots and decided to re-film them in a different location. I also removed some shots where I was lying down miming because this seemed to slow the video down instead of adding pace and excitement to compliment the genre of the song.
